Senate Races

Well if anyone has being paying attention to the Senate races across America, then you are aware that the Democrats seem to be in trouble. There are various attributing factors to explain the Democrats troubles. Some would point to the fact that Obama at the time is extremely unpopular and he is the face of the Democratic Party. Some would say like, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, that the democrats seem to be lacking in economic focus, and have even lost touch with reality. Paul recently did an interview with CNN going into a little more detail (the link is attached below). The CNN analyst giving the interview even points to the fact that historically the people choose to vote against the party of the president.

I think all of these are valid reasons, but I want to take it a step farther, the average American is disgusted with both. If the current political climate of America stays the same, then the Republicans will quickly lose their favoritism with the voters also. The average American is tired of the gridlock, lack of effectiveness, and overall politicking of the parties all together. The reason why the Republican are leading now is just because people are tired of the democrats, and there is no third party that a majority of Americans feel comfortable with.
